The end of the month in our Plexus world is this crazy kind of hard beautiful.  It’s full of amazing victories that are the result of some hard fought battles that most never see.  It’s also full of some of the most heartbreaking moments that many will never understand outside our little world.  We celebrate and cheer on our teammates and sidelines.  Many times we are cheering through secret tears of discouragement and frustration, but we cheer never the less.  In my opinion, it doesn’t matter which month it is for you, whether it’s one of heartbreak or whether it’s one of celebration, it’s beautiful.

It doesn’t matter your rank.  If you are in this journey, you are brave.  You have chosen an industry that is so misunderstood.  People have their own misconceptions and honestly, for some companies, those thoughts are spot on.  There are some scams.  There are also some legitimate companies with fair compensation plans and amazing products.  We ambassadors know that we found that.  Are things perfect? No.  Backoffice-gate 2016 is kind of an example of that.  Bumps in the road happen.  However, what we have discovered through it all is that what we believed about our company is true, that the integrity of our leaders in second to none.  They want the best for us and they work tirelessly to fix what isn’t matching up to the standards that they have set for our company.  Back to your bravery….  the second you decide to put yourself out there, to jump out of your comfort zone, to post a vulnerable post, to bet on yourself… you are brave.  The moment that you get that first phone call from a friend that had energy, that was able to play with her kids, that after months or years of feeling miserable finally feels like the whole version of herself, you “get it”.  You understand why we are these ‘crazy’ plexus ambassadors. I celebrate that bravery in you!  If today was your first post or conversation with someone, well done.  I’m proud of you for stepping out of that comfort zone!

Was this your month???  Was it the month you dreamed about, worked towards, persevered through trials for?  Was this your jewel month?  After all of the work, do you get that trip to Hawaii???  The Lexus?  Did you finally go Silver? Gold?? Diamond???  Regardless of the rank, I’m so proud of you.  I know that journey was not easy. For some it’s easier than others, but still never easy.  You worked your rear off.  I know that.  Planting those seeds, following up with your customers and ambassadors, working to make sure each person found exactly the right combo, it was so worth it.  Guess what? I know you also endured some bitter disappointments.  You were unfollowed/unfriended and had people think ill of you.  I know that you had team members and customers that didn’t love the products.  It happens.  But you did not give up!!! You know what else happened?  People found their health again, because of you.  People learned to be brave, because they watched you be brave.  Someone decided to take a tentative step out of their comfort zone, because they saw that you stepping out of yours didn’t kill you.   I know some of you thought this advancement would happen months and even years ago, but you continued on.  Enjoy!  Celebrate!!!  We are celebrating with you!  Your journey is so beautiful in your own unique way.  You will have just the story that your team needs to hear.

Is this month just not ending the way you hoped?  I’m so sorry.  I’ve been there too.  It’s hard.  It is.  I know that you want desperately to celebrate all of the victories of others, but you are just feeling down, discouraged and defeated.  You know what?  We have grace for that because MOST of us have felt it too.  The ending of this month, that’s just it, the end of the month.  It’s not the end of your story.  At 11 CST on March 31st (my birthday… hee hee), we get to watch our back office flip over to a bunch of “zeroes”.  You know what that signifies?  A fresh start.  A new beginning.  A new month full of possibility.  I know that many of you have ended the month feeling discouraged for months on end, but we still get a fresh start each month.  I firmly believe that the valleys in your journey are not worthless!  You are going to have team members who go through them as well and they need to see that this journey is not all about momentum.  That it’s about persevering through the struggles, through the hard parts and getting out on the other side.  And you will.  I don’t know when it will be your moment, when we will be celebrating you, but let me be clear.  IF YOU DON’T GIVE UP, I KNOW WE WILL BE.  One month, whether it’s next month or next year, we will be putting your rank advancement up.  We will be telling about how you endured the trials with grace.  How you fell down, but you didn’t stay down.  How you could have given up, but you didn’t.  How you used these times of disappointment to grow yourself.  How you used it to learn how to work with your team and your customers in new ways.  I’m proud of you for not letting discouragement keep you down.

Whichever chapter it is in your business, I’m so grateful to be in it with each of you.  We still have 2 more days of point-stalking and I am looking forward to every second of it!
